etsy finds for your home

everyone loves etsy -- i'm definitely in the fan club, as well. who doesn't adore original, unique pieces that are high style and low on price? here are some of my favorite things on etsy right now

vintage chalkboards -- such a chic way to write little notes, and doubles as a beautiful wall hanging as well.

antlers -- i started to like the look of antlers after a recent trip to aspen, colorado, where these babies were used heavily in the decor. i might paint these in black, to go with the rest of my decor.

michaelangelo statue - what to say except this is big bad and bold. a statement piece, for sure.

antique d.c. beauties

just noticed a new section on 1stdibs.com for antique dealers in washington, d.c.

according to a report on
washingtonpost.com, 1st dibs was scheduled to list the area’s dealers and their items this month. judging by the remarkable selection that is already online, i’m certain many of the pieces will be sold soon.

although the prices are steep, the range and brilliance of the aged beauties is outstanding. from a fine and rare 18th century mirror to a pair of abstract sculptural lamps, the
d.c. selection on 1stdibs.com is extraordinary.
